Help us light up Chautauqua Lake for America’s 250th Anniversary!

The Bemus Point Business Association is excited to announce a special collaboration for the 2026 Fourth of July celebration. This year, Bemus Point is partnering with the Village of Mayville, Skylighters of New York, and Kix Country 96.5 & 100.3 to create a synchronized fireworks and music experience across Chautauqua Lake.

At 10PM on Saturday, July 4th, visitors throughout the lake region will be able to tune into Kix Country to hear a patriotic soundtrack timed with fireworks launching in coordination across both communities.

As part of this collaboration, Bemus Point is also working to expand its traditional fireworks display into an extended 25 minute show, creating one of the largest and most memorable Fourth of July celebrations our community has ever seen.

The Bemus Point 4th of July Fireworks Show can be viewed from throughout the village, by land or by lake, and has become a beloved tradition for both residents and visitors alike. This event brings thousands of people to Bemus Point during one of the busiest weekends of the summer season, supporting local businesses, restaurants, lodging properties, and attractions throughout the area.

This expanded production comes with significant additional costs for fireworks, barges, safety coordination, synchronization, staffing, insurance, signage, and marketing, and we cannot do it without the support of our businesses, sponsors, and community partners.

Our nonprofit organization, the Bemus Point Business Association (BPBA), does not receive any government funding for this event. Each year, this celebration is made possible solely through community donations and business sponsorships.

We hope you’ll consider sponsoring or donating to help make this historic America 250 celebration our biggest and best yet!

We’re looking for vendors selling handcrafted items, specialty foods, boutique goods, art, home décor, apparel, and more for our 2026 Fall Fest Street Market, Sept. 18-20!

This growing event draws a wonderful crowd to the village each year, and we hope you’ll join us!

The rate for a standard 10' x 10' booth space is $175 for new vendors and $150 for returning vendors, checks made payable to the BPBA (Bemus Point Business Association), or register through our digital platform.

    EVENT HOURS

Booths must be open Saturday & Sunday from 10 AM - 5 PM. Friday will continue to be a free/bonus day, with hours also running from 10 AM - 5 PM.

Set up is from 8 AM - 10 AM. Due to the Village of Bemus Point noise ordinance, we are unable to allow early setup. This event takes place within a residential community, and we appreciate your cooperation and respect for local residents.

Please note: Event hours and setup details are subject to change. Vendors will be notified of any updates.

Vendors may not begin breakdown or departure prior to the official close of the event on Sunday at 5 PM without prior approval from the BPBA Fall Fest Committee. Doing so will cause a ban on future attendance.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Public & Private Property: This event is held throughout a village containing both public spaces and private residences/businesses. Vendors must remain within their assigned 10' x 10' booth space unless prior approval has been granted. Vendors may not expand onto sidewalks, neighboring spaces, or private property. Respect toward residents, businesses, volunteers, staff, and fellow vendors is expected at all times. Violations may result in immediate removal from the event and exclusion from future festivals.

Certificate of Insurance (COI): All vendors are required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) as part of the application process. If you need assistance obtaining one, please contact us via email.

Supplies: This is an outdoor, rain or shine event. Vendors are responsible for supplying their own tent, tables, displays, weights, and equipment.

Electricity & Generators: Electricity is generally unavailable and not guaranteed. Vendors requiring electricity or utilizing a generator must indicate so on their application. Quiet generators are strongly encouraged.

Tax ID: The collection and reporting of NYS sales tax is the responsibility of the Exhibitor. A valid New York State Tax ID is required.

Food & Beverage Sales: No food or beverage items may be sold without prior approval from the BPBA Fall Fest Committee.

Booth Locations: Booth locations are not guaranteed from year to year. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, all placement decisions are made solely by the BPBA Fall Fest Committee. We are expanding the market this year and are looking into having vendors on Lakeside Drive and in the village park. The street would be closed and this will allow for a wider walkway and safer shopping area. This is not guaranteed. It is possible that some preexisting vendors will be moved to this area.

    Vendor Merchandise Policy:
Bemus Point Fall Fest strives to feature handcrafted, original, boutique, vintage, specialty, and small-business products whenever possible. Preference may be given to vendors offering handmade goods, original artwork, locally produced items, curated vintage collections, or unique specialty merchandise.

Mass-produced imported products, bulk wholesale resale items, or merchandise commonly associated with online discount marketplaces may not be approved at the discretion of the BPBA Fall Fest Committee.

To help us maintain a diverse and high-quality event experience, vendors may be asked to submit product photos, social media pages, website links, or booth photos during the review process.

Business Conflicts & Merchandise Overlap: This event is sponsored by Bemus Point businesses. Applications may be declined if products directly conflict with local storefront businesses. While we make every effort to separate vendors with similar merchandise, overlap may occur, and exclusivity is not guaranteed.

Security: Overnight security is not provided. Any merchandise, tents, tables, or equipment left overnight are left at your own risk and are not the responsibility of the BPBA.

Clean-Up: Vendors are responsible for maintaining and cleaning their booth space throughout the event. Any excessive trash, cardboard, or debris left behind may affect eligibility for future events.

Parking & Vehicles: Vendor vehicles and trailers must remain within designated parking or assigned areas and may not obstruct pedestrian walkways, neighboring booths, or emergency access areas.

Contract Violations: Vendors who violate the terms outlined in this agreement, including but not limited to unauthorized early breakdown, parking violations, failure to arrive during agreed setup times, or inappropriate/aggressive/disrespectful behavior toward volunteers, staff, residents, attendees, or fellow vendors, may be asked to leave the event and may not be invited back in future years.

Refunds: Absolutely no refunds. No exceptions. No rain date.

DECISIONS OF THE BPBA FALL FEST COMMITTEE ARE FINAL.

By applying through this online portal, you agree to the above terms and conditions.

    2026 SHOW UPDATE, PLEASE REVIEW

As Fall Fest continues to grow, we are expanding the event by adding additional vendors and potentially more live entertainment to enhance the experience for attendees. With this growth, local officials have requested additional safety regulations, which will affect the overall layout of the event.

To improve pedestrian flow and overall safety, booths will be spaced farther apart throughout portions of the festival. We are looking into expanding the market onto Lakeside Drive and in the village park. The street would be closed and this will allow for a wider walkway and safer shopping area. This is not guaranteed. It is possible that some preexisting vendors will be moved to this area.

Please review the following important notes:

Booth Requests: You are welcome to request a specific location, and we will do our best to accommodate requests whenever possible. However, booth locations are not guaranteed.

Returning Vendors: Returning vendors and vendors participating on Friday will continue to receive priority placement consideration.

Communication: All communication regarding Fall Fest vending must be conducted via email at visitbemuspoint@gmail.com.

Tax ID Requirement: A valid New York State Tax ID is required as part of the registration process.

If any of these policies are a concern, you may reconsider participation, although we sincerely hope you choose to join us!

We truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue working to make Fall Fest a safe, organized, and enjoyable event for everyone involved. Thank you for being part of our growing festival and community tradition!

    FINAL NOTES

No booth spaces are guaranteed from year to year.

Friday vendors and returning vendors receive priority placement consideration, in that order.

This event is sponsored by Bemus Point businesses. Applications may be denied if products directly conflict with local storefront establishments.

All decisions made by the BPBA Fall Fest Committee are final.

    2026 UPDATE: PLEASE REVIEW

As Fall Fest continues to grow, we are expanding the event by adding more vendors and potentially additional live entertainment to enhance the experience for attendees. With this growth, our local government has requested additional safety regulations, which will affect the layout of the event.

To ensure everyone's safety, booths will be more spread out to allow additional room for pedestrian movement. Please review the following important points:

Merchandise & Food Overlap: We understand the importance of unique offerings and will make every effort to separate vendors with similar products or menu items whenever possible. However, the BPBA does not guarantee exclusivity for merchandise, food, or beverage items.

Decorum/Behavior: If you violate any portion of the vendor agreement, including but not limited to early breakdown without approval, parking outside designated areas, failing to arrive during your agreed setup time, or displaying inappropriate, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward volunteers, staff, neighboring vendors, or attendees, you may be asked to leave the event and may not be invited back to future shows.
